Rob has been in the wine industry for over 35 years and brings with him a deep passion and extraordinary knowledge of wines from around the world. He believes wine is meant to be experienced, shared, celebrated, and enjoyed — and he truly loves introducing people to the beauty of the grape. Before opening Varietals and More, Rob managed Crown Wine & Spirits for ten years and is enormously grateful to now be the proprietor of Vero Beach’s beloved boutique wine shop.
Over the years, Rob has traveled extensively through some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions, tasting exceptional wines and building lasting relationships with vineyards and winemakers along the way. He had the pleasure of living in Provence, France for sixteen years, where life revolved around beautiful food, local markets, vineyards, and gathering around the table. Those experiences shaped not only his palate, but also the welcoming spirit and philosophy behind Varietals and More. His close relationships with vineyards abroad allow him to bring unique finds, hidden gems, and outstanding value directly to his customers.
Michele’s love affair with wine and cheese began while living in two of the most magical places imaginable for food and wine lovers — San Francisco and Provence, France. Whether it was spontaneous afternoons in Napa Valley, discovering tiny wine bars tucked along cobblestone streets, or wandering through the vineyards of Southern France, those experiences inspired a true appreciation for the artistry, romance, and joy that wine brings to life. Together, Rob and Michele have created a shop that reflects that same warmth, beauty, curiosity, and sense of discovery.
Rob has also been deeply involved in the Vero Beach community, proudly supporting organizations such as the Hibiscus Foundation, Mental Health Association, Treasure Coast Food Bank, the Vero Beach Wine & Film Festival, and many more. Giving back and helping enrich the local community remains one of the most meaningful parts of what they do.
